APSO searching for suspect after shooting in local business parking lot
On Sunday, June 21, deputies responded to a nearby hospital in reference to a subject suffering from a gunshot wound but was treated and later released. As the investigation continued, deputies learned that the shooting occurred earlier in the evening at Rickochet’s Billiards parking lot on Airline Highway.
During the investigation, it was learned that a subject, later identified as 35-year-old Travis Landry, also known as “Chess”, got into an altercation with another subject in the parking lot of the business and fired a shot striking the victim.
Landry, of Baton Rouge, is wanted for attempted second-degree murder and illegal use of weapons.
